The Telehealth Technology Assessment Center creates better-informed consumers of telehealth technology.  By offering a variety of services in the area of technology assessment, the TTAC (pronouced "tea-tac") aims to become the place for answers to questions about selecting appropriate technologies for your telehealth program.

Our website hosts a variety of content to assist in the technology assessment process.  Ranging from whitepapers to complex toolkits, the TTAC has the information needed to get you on the right track with technology assessment. 

We work closely with the Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs) to help define the needs of the telehealth community regarding technology assessment.  They provide tremendous help regarding the programmatic and operational areas of implementing a telehealth system - the yin to our technology-centric yang.  We strongly advise that you get in touch with your regional TRC as you develop your telehealth program.

At a recent ATA conference, Stewart Ferguson, the incoming president, created a callenge to bring public awareness to telemedicine.  Below is a great video produced by one of the TRCs (South Central Telehealth Resource Center) and is a great explaination of how telemedicine works.  Enjoy!
